Since 1995, WARDA and its partners started to develop Rice-ICM system for irrigated rice cropping in the Sahel zone of West Africa. It is similar to P-7 but for each crop management area, a number of alternative technologies or practices were recommended. A farmer, depending on available resources, selects the most suited recommendation (to his/her situation) to apply.
